This is the official blog site for the Medex Manaslu 2015 Expedition. We seek to visit a remote part of Nepal north of Manaslu and establish a Base Camp at 5,300m where we will both conduct research into altitude illness and climb Larkya Peak, 6,200m. We will be in the field from 23rd March until 24th April 2015 and will post regular reports to this site during this period.

Last night Sally and I went to Furba's house for a wonderful dinner with Furba and his wife. His younger brothers also joined us. Best momos ever and it was lovely to meet the family. Many thanks.
